The "Imploding Desk" was the contribution by composer, musician, and writer Manos Tsangaris (b. 1956) to Kolumba's annual exhibition "thinking". Over the course of a year, he allowed us to share in his artistic work, sending us Emails every day - from wherever he happened to be - which were then printed out and placed on a table according to a prescribed scheme where they were at the visitors' disposal. Now, as a chronological record of this work, hundreds of photographs, documents, scores, literary texts, and Emails, edited by the artist, have been compiled into a workbook. It constitutes a representative document of artistic diversity and continuity.
