Koho Mori-Newton is the painter of Kolumba's silk curtains which are a functional as well as aesthetic gossamer-thin membrane between art and architecture. He finds himself in a balancing act in which cultural models, images, and objects are being dissolved to the point where mere art is left over. Starting from the line, translated, copied, repeated and varied, he develops works which leave everything open and whose beauty seems random, fragile and temporary. An artist's booklet will be published (32 pages, 300 copies, € 10).
